I used a mix for gingerbread a long time ago and that company went out of business leaving us to fend for ourselves. Each year I tried a new recipe and they were all okay or not great either in flavor, texture, or ability to form a solid form. So I decided to try the gfJules mix and it was great. It tasted good and was easy to create the cookies and house. I was able to sub out shortening for coconut oil and able to sub out brown sugar for coconut sugar. I am glad I bought 4!"

"Amazing gingerbread house making - This product is fantastic. The dough is very easy to work with and rolls out nicely. Most importantly the cookie flavor is delicious. I added additional powdered ginger this time to kick up the spice. Rolling the dough on parchment paper makes it simple to transport house pieces to the cookie sheet. My only suggestion is to have some extra gluten free flour on hand for the rolling surface and rolling pin. My two adult nephews having been decorating gingerbread houses with me for years, but last year one needed to remove gluten from his diet. This gf Jules mix is a gift that keeps on giving. My favorite usage is making the graham crackers, so I can crush them to make the crust for my sister's cheese cake. She uses Jules' flour in the mixture, the graham cracker crust and produces a cheese cake so good you won't ever want to eat a store/restaurant one again. The rest of the crackers become a snack with peanut butter and jam on them. My grandchildren love snacking on graham crackers made with Jules' mixture. So yummy for our tummies!"

"Easy and Delicious - I wanted these to be the ‘the real’ ones. I used Spectrum Organic Shortening and Honey. Divided dough into 3 pieces. I put dough inside waxed paper to roll out, placed 2 chopsticks along side to get even roll. Then using ruler still on top of waxed paper, measured and scored the 5”x2.25” cracker. I pricked cracker with fork, baked as directed. Would go again!"

"I finally made these today - I finally made these today using a mix I bought last winter. I had a recipe for a quick s'mores recipe done in the oven. I made the recipe and made 1/4 fourth and froze the rest in fourths. I rolled them very thin and got about 34 cookies. The baked up beautifully, I made the s'mores recipe for my company. My husband, granddaughter, and son-in-law had the store bought graham crackers. I made a smaller batch with the gluten free cookies for myself and my daughter. My husband and my son-in-law had a plain cookie from the mix and wanted to know why I did use them for the batch they got. They said the gluten free ones were better than the regular graham cracker, Simple indoor s'more recipe. Lay crackers close together on a foil lined pan (helps with clean up), Sprinkle with chocolate chip of your choice and mini marshmallows and put 6 inches from the broiler until marshmallows are golden brown. It only take a couple of minutes so don't walk away from the stove."

"Tried these for the first - Tried these for the first time and am very impressed. I chose to divide the dough into quarters rather than in half to roll them out due to limited counter space. After rolling it out, I trimmed the dough to a rectangle with a pizza cutter and then cut that into squares. I then combined the trimmings and pressed them into a pie pan to make the first graham cracker crust I've eaten in years! Will definitely be buying more."

"As a small business owner, - As a small business owner, I cheat a little and use this mix to make GF & Vegan Graham Crackers. This is by far my most popular product! I have gluten eating folks saying they taste better than what they normally have. I am still getting used to rolling things out evenly, but no one has complained. If I mention the varied thicknesses of the crackers, people laugh at me because they only care about how great they are! And even with my variations in rolling, I never have trouble baking them, they are perfect no matter what mistakes I make, or if I forget to put a timer on... :) As an aside, I also recommend trying them with maple syrup for another delicious variation!"

"Delicious gingerbread muffins! I followed - Delicious gingerbread muffins! I followed your gingerbread recipe. Using a bag of your GF Graham Cracker Mix with coconut sugar, I choose to use Earth Balance Shortening Sticks, 1/4 cup applesauce and 1 cup pumpkin puree. I filled the cupcake paper liners to the very top. This made 12 medium sized cupcakes. They rose above the liners but did not spill over. Muffins were pretty, easy to make, tasted delicious & moist and kept well in the refrigerator for a week."

"This mix makes a large - This mix makes a large batch of graham crackers, which is good because my kids can't stop eating them. Soo good! I was hoping to have some to make a graham cracker pie crust, but I think I'm out of luck until I make another batch.
It was quick and easy to mix up. To roll them out, I didnt add extra flour as the directions said to do. I simply rolled them out on parchment paper, with plastic wrap on top. That works out well for me, and I dont have to worry about extra flour. I rolled out half the dough to about a 12_x 16_ rectangle, and cut the crackers into roughly 2_ squares. (I ended up with about 80 crackers.) I sprinkled some of them with cinnamon-sugar before baking and they were even tastier. Perfect for some yummy smores, or just for snacking.

"This is one of the - This is one of the tastiest gingerbread/graham cracker mixes I have ever tasted! I was a little surprised that I actually had enough to make our gingerbread house after all the little bites of dough I snuck. ;) It was perfectly sweet with the right amount of spice. The dough, once made, was SO easy to work with and roll out. Again, I was expecting a sticky mess because that is what often happens with gluten-free doughs. Not with this mix. I easily rolled out my gingerbread and just as easily cut out the shapes needed to make our house. After baking the gingerbread, they were sturdy enough to build the house but not so hard that I couldn't sneak a few more bites to enjoy. Our house stayed together though little hands were decorating and building and even remained in tact the entire month of December! I LOVE this mix and can't wait to use it again next year!"
